Lumpiang Chicken with Vegetables

Yesterday I tried the round lumpia wrapper that I bought from local grocery store few days ago, but it didn't worked. So I need to ask my cousin about what kind of wrapper had her mom (my auntie) has been using. Since she cooked lumpia for us when we visited them last year of sept. So I found out, yes I got the wrong wrapper obviously. Need to find square size instead of the round one to make it work.

 Back then I don't have to worry about it since anywhere in Philippines you can buy it easily in restaurants and some fast-food chain or even in karinderia. 

Today I did bought the square shape wrapper and some more ingredients for my chicken & veggies lumpia. I also add small slice of cheese on it and I was quite happy with the result.

Now these are my finished product, so glad it turns out really good and tasty. My hubby didn't have any dinner other than these, he said he's stuff and ready to go bed.

 P.S. All ingredients for my chicken curry was all ready, even my partner told me he was stuff. I still cooked it, which I will be posted next time.

We are still experiencing winter weather this time. Last night the forecast was predicting snow and freezing rain. When I woke up this morning didn't see any snow on the ground at all. Perhaps it was melted right away with the rain. It was fairly cold I would say below freezing but it was pretty out there with all the icicles all over the place. 

Did grab my camera and start taking photos before it will melt.

 The ground was so crunchy. Some of my photos below.

Just spent almost an hour outside dressed up warm & I enjoyed taking my photos.

After an hour it started to melt down i guess that means it started to warm up.

Easter Sunday 2009 Beach Trip!

 Bago ako nakaalis ng pinas ito yong pinaka huling gala ko sa real,quezon (villa sotera beach resort). Medyo malayo din ang biyahe galing sa taytay,rizal more or less 2 hours din yata kasi medyo maulan ang araw na 'yon. Actually nakitulog na ako sa kaibigan ko kasi maaga kami umalis. Sabit lang talaga ako dun kasi family picnic yon. Salamat sa kaibigan kong si nelly at sa tito at tita nya sobrang bait. Sa kagustuhan ko kasing mag enjoy sa beach bago ako lalayo sa mahal kong bansa kaya ako sumama.

Along the way ang daming magagandang tanawin, luntian ang mga bundok. Kahit na maulan kitang kita parin ang ganda ng lugar. Zigzag road scenery, river views at mga beaches syempre.  At sa mga taong nakakakilala sakin di ko pinalalampas ang mga nice views na walang pictures. Kahit snapshot lang yan (referring 1st 2 photos) maganda parin hehe.


Sobrang lakas ng hangin pagdating namin sa beach naisip ko tuloy bakit di ako nagbaon ng kumot hehe. Pero tumigil din ang ulan at nagpakita si haring araw at unti-unting nawala ang malakas na hangin.

That was very nice day indeed. Daming foods kaya medyo nasira ang tyan ko hehe. Medyo di nga lang develop yong place, kailangan pumila para mag-shower at mag-cr. After ng beach trip na to isang taon muna bago ako nakapunta ng dagat and that was already florida beach.

Nasan man ako ngayon palagi ko parin hinahanap ang mga pagkaing kinagisnan ko.





 Walang kasing sarap ang pagkaing Pinoy.

Katulad ng dati lagi ako nagkakamay kapag tuyo at kamatis na isasawsaw sa suka ang ulam ko.
